I'm getting excited for the launch of my upcoming mission trip to Papua New Guinea in just a few weeks. Lots of details and lots of decisions. And lots of prayer.
I'll be blogging online for Thrive Ministry while in-country, so we'll be able to stay in touch. The team anticipates blessing almost 100 women serving in PNG, so thanks for praying with us, for effective ministry.
As I prepare to fly, our son, Jared flies to Texas tomorrow to help out with recovery efforts from Hurricane Harvey. Please pray for him and the Salt & Light Brigade, as they assist people with physical and spiritual needs.
One video I saw from Christians there, mentioned the need for Bibles. Other organizations are helping with the rebuilding process, but I don't know how many groups are giving the greatest gift of all - a loving message of hope in Jesus, along with a copy of the Bible.
